RadDatePicker inside a P tag?

Since the  RadDatePicker uses a DIV, it is not valid to use the control inside a <P> tag. Is there any way to "tell" RadDatePicker to use a SPAN rather than a DIV? Otherwise it is impossible to use inside P tags without formatting getting messed up.
