Ruler for a canvas

Hi,

I am building an application that requires a canvas on which I intend to add a ruler (similar to that in Microsoft Visio) and I searched but couldn't find any proper control for that besides of course RichTextEditorRuler but that only works with RichTextEditor. So I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction in order to replicate that ruler or something similar using Telerik. A link, sample project, code snippet anything you can provide would be very helpful.
